In the untamed wilderness of Midgard, daylight reveals hordes of wandering undead. Something sinister lurks in the shadows of forests and gorges, casting a malevolent presence upon the land. It is the work of the dark goddess Hel, who, in just 15 days, has cursed these lands with her black magic and seeks to enslave the kingdom of the living.

You are an immortal and courageous Jarl of the northern warriors, spared from the grasp of death. Healers and shamans are at a loss as to why this has occurred.
